Spread Joy Not Germs Blog Hop + Giveaway!

https://sassyandcrafty.com/blogs/sassy-crafty-blog/spreadjoynotgerms-official-blog-hopHappy Friday! I am so excited to be a part of a an awesome blog hop filled with inspiration from over 150 other fellow crafters that have come together to spread joy and thank you people for staying home to prevent the spread of germs. You should have come here from Sassy and Crafty, if not, you can always start from here and go till the end before checking the complete list on the Catherine Pooler Blog or the Hedgehog Hollow Blog. So here I present to you my card filled with happy colors using the Vintage Floral Background stamp form Brutus Monroe.

I heat embossed the floral stamp on Neenah 80lb using Raven embossing powder. This embossing powder is really glossy and gives great results, as you can seen in the image below! I colored using copic markers and trimmed it down to 4″X5.25″.

I double embossed the sentiment from the Super Sentimental stamp set also form Brutus Monroe. A few black gems to add some dazzle and I am done.

Brutus Monroe is giving away a $50 gift card and we also have 30 other sponsors and prize winners will be randomly drawn from all comments across the blog hop. Take your time and hop through the list over the weekend, through April 24th. Psssst…. there are also additional freebies and discounts hidden along the hop, so make sure you don’t skip anyone! If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating blogs as well as list of prizes on the Catherine Pooler Blog or the Hedgehog Hollow Blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by. If you are being good and staying at home, you certainly are my favorite! So leave a comment below to let me know what you have been doing since the world turned crazy and I will send this card to one of you!! 1. Your card is absolutely stunning! I have been eyeballing that stamp for a while. Love what you did with it.
What have I been doing since the world turned crazy? Living in isolation. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic so I have been staying two hours away from home at my in-laws. They go to Florida for the winter so I have the place to myself. I have to stay in isolation because unfortunately the COVID-19 virus would not be a very happy outcome for me. But that’s OK, I took a carload of my craft stuff with me and have been keeping myself busy.
    Thank you. Stay healthy.

    1. Awww… that’s sad. But I am glad you are making the most of it by crafting away. A salut and big thanksnto your husband for helping people in such times! Thanks for the kind words!

I’ve been doing some work out on my front deck, trimming and repotting some plants. The deck is looking good!

  3. Beautiful card. I love all the beautiful colors. Since I work for the school district here, and there is no school for the rest of the year, I have been trying to keep myself busy with my crafting, and I’m also making masks for my family so they can stay safe and healthy through all of this madness. Thank you so much for sharing.

  4. Beautiful card. Love how you colored all of the flowers. While the world is in time out, I’m still going to work. So things are pretty normal to me, except going shopping and sanitizing everything. Oh and then there is Netflix.

  5. This is gorgeous!!! That embossing powder really is glossy and it’s fabulous!!! Your coloring is amazing and I love how dimensional the sentiment looks. I’m a stay-at-home mom who homeschools her three kiddos, so life really hasn’t been much different for us; we pretty much always stay home!

  8. You’re card is absolutely stunning! Love the vibrant colours! I’ve been working from home full time since this all started and haven’t been out of the house at all in the past month and a half. I work in IT, so everything I do can be done remotely. I actually kind of enjoy it, because it gives me a lot more time to work on my cards and other crafts. I have made a ton of cards, lots of which I haven’t even posted yet. LOL! I’m having a blast using all of my stamps, stencils and all of the other cool supplies that I use along with them. I’ve also been sending out Birthday cards to friends and family too! Driving into work takes me about 45 to 50 minutes each way, so that’s another reason I like working from home. Plus I can wear PJ’s and be comfortable! LOL! Thanks for spreading some joy today and being part of this amazing hop!

  11. I am fortunate enough to work from home so my daily routine really hasn’t changed much. I have asthma so my husband has become our official grocery shopper which I’m not complaining about at all. 😬
I love your coloring on this card, fantastic design!
